Nightingale Avenue, Eastleigh

St Francis Church and Hall was built in the 1950s as the town continued its growth, with the "Aviary" Estate. The building provides a useful sized Community Hall, with a 'Sanctuary' area divided off from the rest of the Hall by folding doors, allowing flexibility in its use, with the Friday Morning Eucharist taking place in the intimate surroundings of the Sanctuary area and full use of the Hall and Sanctuary being made for the monthly Songs of Praise Service. The Hall is widely used for Community activities throughout the week , including Guides, a local Dance Group, and monthly Prayer Group. It may be booked for private functions.
